The last unit was all about the structure of the atom and the atomic patterns that can be seen in the periodic table of elements. This unit will build on that knowledge because in order to understand how atoms come together you first had to learn their structure. You will now be learning the different ways that various types of elements become "glued" together, chemists like to call it bonding, and the affects that these bonds have on the structures formed.
