During the first unit we talked about these things called "particles," but what is a particle? In this unit we are going to dive deep into the atomic world of matter. We will be looking closely at how the particle, chemists call it an atom, is constructed and how particles vary from one another. The periodic table of elements will also be introduced, so it will be a wise choice to keep one handy from here until the end of the year.
